Position Description:
The Centre for Addiction and Mental  Health (CAMH) is seeking two full-time, contract IT Specialist (Enterprise  Reporting BI/ETL Developer) to work in the Performance Improvement division of  the Information Management Group. Reporting to the Sr. Solutions Architect,  Enterprise Reporting, the Enterprise Reporting BI/ETL Developer, will be  primarily accountable for development, deployment and maintenance of ETL (SSIS),  reports (SSRS), and decision support cubes (SSAS), as directed, within the  current SQL Server 2012 (Microsoft BI) Enterprise Reporting environment at CAMH.  In this capacity, the Enterprise Reporting BI/ETL Developer, under the direction  of the Sr. Solutions Architect, Enterprise Reporting, will ensure all ETL and  OLAP components within the current solutions are effectively maintained, and any  enhancements or new products required, are properly developed and implemented.  Key Accountabilities: · Analyzes source data and transactional databases ·  Creates ETL Packages to extract data from source OLTP applications and load SQL  data warehouse (Staging) · Assists the Sr. Solutions Architect, Enterprise  Reporting in creating data models and ERD’s · Assists the Sr. Solutions  Architect, Enterprise Reporting in creating source/target mappings · Develops  SSIS (ETL) to transform staging data and load fact and dimension tables ·  Capture metadata and rules associated with all ETL processes · Monitors  Production ETL Packages and assists in troubleshooting, when required · Creates  and maintains loading schedules for SSIS Packages and other Stored procedures ·  Develops SSAS cubes, based on cube specifications · Creates SQL report queries  and develops SSRS Reports, based on report specifications · Completes SIT  testing of SSIS, SSRS and SSAS · Supports data validation and Report Design  Reviews · Assists in maintaining ETL Mapping Documents, and Report and Cube  Specifications · Assists the Sr. Solutions Architect, Enterprise Reporting in  deploying SSIS, SSRS and SSAS to SharePoint 2013 environment and testing when  needed You will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, and  complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements. Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in computer science or  equivalent degree/experience and should have current certification as MCSE: SQL  Server (2008 or higher) Solutions Associate (or higher) combined with a minimum  of three (3) years of enterprise level experience with all aspects of Microsoft  SQL Server ETL (SSIS) and OLAP (SSAS and SSRS) development, including: creating  technical documentation, developing ETL Mapping Specs and ETL, creating report  specifications and developing SSRS reports and SSAS cubes; developing data  models; documenting data flow diagrams and entity relationship diagrams; and  working with a variety of source systems (Oracle, Sybase and DB2). You will have  demonstrated experience working with SQL Server 2008 or 2012 Enterprise  Solutions and have the ability to work jointly with the business users to  understand analytical reporting needs. You will possess proven trouble  shooting/debugging skills with ability to isolate/resolve problems. You will  have a good working knowledge of a variety of Data Warehouse development  methodologies. Experience with Integrated SQL Server SSRS/SharePoint solutions  strongly preferred but not mandatory. You will have excellent communication  (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills in English. Experience in a  hospital or other healthcare environment strongly preferred but not mandatory.  You are able to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with  internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Bilingualism  (French/English) is considered an asset.
Please note:
These two (2) full-time, contract positions ending March 31, 2016 are part  of the OPSEU bargaining unit.
Salary Range:
$34.79 to $46.91 per hour
